Finished of 2 articles today and built my contact form.  I am still a couple of articles short of where I need to be.  Need to decide if it’s enough content for the site and need to work out which day to post everything that’s completed.   The right sidebar is still annoying me, I still need to fiddle around with it to get the layout right.  The blog site is only 80% done in layout and content delivery.  Still need to add list of influences for the site and something about myself.

Finally worked out how I can place a copyright into a widget and store it on my sidebar.  I’m glad I got Google Chrome, as it made it easier for me to copy and paste the section from the Copyright Help section of WordPress.  Thank you WordPress, Google and the people at Creative Commons for all your help.  I’m glad I had a look at the Text widget.

Finally finished of another article.  Had to re-edit some of the articles that I wrote.  Also added made some changes to layout and added a few more categories.   The site is finally coming together, but still need a few more articles before I am ready to go.  Found out how to add links to other articles on my article.  It’s pretty easy after you work it out.

It has taken me a considerable amount of time and patience to work out how to post my articles in to the different sections of the blog.  I spent a fair bit of my time reading support literature and reviewing sites to gain an understanding of how it could be done.  It eventually found what I was looking for. Through a bit of experimentation I have finally cracked the code.  I am finally relieved as now, I can begin writing more articles. Whoohoo!

I have to transfer the entries to posts, so that I put in this section.  All things going today, it should now be a breeze.  Sweet!

Today’s the day that I finally put the draft to About for Aqua Black Cat and Conditions of use for the site.  The conditions page took the longest as I had to work out what I wanted to say as well as protect myself from people who want to gain from me for monetary reasons.  I wish there was an easier way to write all legal mumbo jumbo.  I will still probably have to re-edit it due to legal reasons.  I wonder if I have to remove it.  I am starting to make headway (progress), will need to keep going and start publishing some articles now.

Yeah!  Finally got started on my blog site.  I can’t believe it has taken me this long.  WordPress my chose application for blogging.   Decided to pay for the name.  It has also taken me 2 hours to decide on a free theme that gives me functionality and flexibility.  Tough choice between Twenty-Eleven and Nuntius theme, chose Nuntius.

Took me a while to work out how to set “Search” on Site Header.  It was slightly easier to work out how to add pages onto site with the subheadings.  Feeling frustrated that I still haven’t worked out how to move the “About” page on to the black header bar.   Ahhhh!  I’ve been looking at sites and support information on how to move this to the top black bar and then I finally read the section about the Nuntius theme and I find out that I need to purchase “Custom Design” to do this.  Not a happy chappy. D’oh!  That’s it, beer time.
